This is really two tracks in one. The first half of this track is probably one of the newer tracks because the ending to the game was one of the last elements to go in. The spiral boardwalk unrolling for you and the journey upwards, feeling of something amazing ahead... that all inspired this. I really wanted a sense of spiraling upwards movement and of seeing things from far away get constructed.
The second half of the track has an interesting story. Stuart actually gets some credit for this one, as one day out of the blue, he sent me some audio of him humming a tune... I thought it was quite nice, and decided to actually act on it. I never told Stuart I was seriously turning it into a track, and I think he forgot about it... but was blown away when I showed him.
So after composing it, I thought it had to definitely be the end track for the game. It's interesting... because it matches so well with Triangle Sun, I used similar instrumentation. And I could also put a little bit of the Triangle Sun melody in it, making it a nice mixture of our ideas.

This soundtrack has pretty much made my entire childhood so I'm excited to hear the vinyl of it! Praying that one day we can hear the third album but no pressure, since everything surrounding it must've been super stressful to deal with. Always looking forward to hear your next work! imande
